UnidevGO ("UnidevGO", "we", "us") is a software quality assurance and development company. We test and build software for clients, which means we regularly work close to other people's systems and data. This policy explains how we handle personal information in two situations: when you use unidevgo.com (the "Website"), and when we handle client data while testing or building software for a client.
1. Who we are
UnidevGO is based at Ibrahim Chamber (7th floor), 95 Motijheel C/A, Dhaka 1000, Bangladesh. We provide manual, automation, API, performance and security testing, along with web and mobile development, UI/UX design, DevOps and cloud services. For any question about this policy or your data, email info@unidevgo.com.
2. Information we collect on the Website
You can browse the Website without telling us who you are. We only collect personal information that you choose to send us through one of these forms.
Project enquiries (contact form)
Required: your name, email address, subject, and message.
Optional: phone number, company name, and the service you are interested in.
Please describe your project in general terms. Do not put passwords, access keys, production data, or details of unfixed security vulnerabilities in the form. If we need them, we will agree a secure way to exchange them first.
Job applications
Required: your name, email address, phone number, and cover letter.
Optional: a LinkedIn profile URL, a portfolio URL, and a resume (PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 5 MB).
We also record which job you applied for.
Some job listings send you to an external application page instead. Anything you submit there is handled by that site under its own privacy policy.
Newsletter
Your email address, the date you subscribed, and whether your subscription is active.
What we do not collect
The Website has no visitor accounts, no payments, and no shopping cart.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Site search queries are used to show results and are not stored.
3. Client data we handle during QA and development work
To test or build software, we may be given access to a client's applications, source code, test and staging environments, test accounts, bug trackers, and sometimes data that contains personal information about the client's own users. For that data:
The client is in charge of it. We process it only to deliver the agreed work, under the client's instructions and the contract and non-disclosure agreement we sign with them. We never use it for our own purposes.
Test data first. We ask clients to give us synthetic or masked test data wherever possible, and to share real personal data only when the testing cannot be done without it.
Least access. Only the team members working on the project get access, and only to the environments and accounts the work needs.
Credentials stay out of reports. Passwords, keys, and tokens are never written into bug reports, test cases, screenshots, or email.
Evidence is kept lean. Screenshots, screen recordings, and logs attached to bug reports show only what is needed to reproduce the problem, and personal data in them is hidden where practical.
Vulnerabilities are confidential. Security issues we find are reported only to the client and are never disclosed to anyone else.
Access ends with the project. When an engagement ends, we give up our access and return or delete client data as the contract requires.
If you are a user of one of our clients' products and have a question about your data, contact that company first: it decides how your data is used. We will help them answer you.
4. Cookies and local storage
The public Website does not set cookies. It may read a small display preference (theme and light or dark mode) from your browser's local storage. That value stays on your device and is never sent to us.
The contact page shows an embedded Google Map. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address, under Google's Privacy Policy.
5. How we use Website information
Project enquiries: to reply, understand what you need tested or built, prepare a proposal, and keep a record of the conversation.
Job applications: to assess your application, contact you about interviews or test assignments, and send you a confirmation email when you apply.
Newsletter: to send you a welcome email and occasional news about UnidevGO.
Security: to protect the Website from spam and abuse. Your IP address is used briefly to limit how many forms can be sent in a short time. It is not saved with your submission.
We process this information because you asked us to (by sending an enquiry, applying, or subscribing) and because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries, hiring, and keeping the Website secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
6. Who we share it with
Only authorised UnidevGO staff can see your submissions. To run the Website, we use these service providers, who store or process data on our behalf:
DigitalOcean hosts the Website (servers in the United States).
Neon hosts our database (servers in Singapore).
Cloudinary stores uploaded resumes and website images.
Our email provider delivers form notifications, application confirmations, and newsletter emails.
Google provides the embedded map on the contact page.
Client data from QA and development work is not shared with anyone except as the client's contract allows. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients, or the public.
7. International transfers
We are based in Bangladesh, and the providers above store data in the United States and Singapore. Your information may be processed in those countries, which may have different data protection laws from yours. We only work with established providers that apply industry-standard security. For client work, where data is stored is agreed with the client.
8. How long we keep it
Project enquiries: for as long as we are discussing or working on the project, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records.
Job applications: for as long as the role is open. If you are not hired, we may keep your application so we can contact you about a future role, unless you ask us to delete it.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Client project data: for as long as the client's contract says, and no longer.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time (see section 10).
9. Security
Testing software for weaknesses is part of our daily work, and we apply the same care to our own systems. The Website is served only over HTTPS. Access to submissions is limited to authorised staff through a password-protected admin system, and every form is protected by rate limiting and input validation. Uploaded resumes are stored at hard-to-guess addresses that are never published on the Website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information through the forms.
10. Your rights and choices
Email info@unidevgo.com to:
get a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
correct information that is wrong;
delete your enquiry, job application, or resume;
unsubscribe from the newsletter;
object to how we use your information.
We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Other websites
The Website links to other sites, such as our social media profiles, client projects, and external job pages. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, the Website, or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If a change significantly affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell you before it takes effect, where we can.
